Welcome to the official terms and conditions for Lovely Nail Salon on Mill Lane in West Hampstead. These policies help ensure a smooth, safe, and respectful experience for every client. By booking an appointment, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Booking & Cancellation Policy
You can book appointments online or by phone. To help us manage our schedule, please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. If you cancel late or miss your appointment, we may charge a fee.
If your preferred time isn’t available, contact us directly. We’ll do our best to find a suitable slot..
Hygiene & Safety Standards
You’ll find all prices on our Prices page. We accept payment at the end of each appointment. Although we aim for perfection, we do not offer refunds for completed treatments unless there’s a fault.
Age Restrictions & Eligibility
Before your first visit, we’ll ask for your date of birth. This is a legal requirement, and we cannot proceed without it.
Clients Under 16
- Must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the service
- Parent/guardian must complete permission and consultation forms
- Nail extensions and tinting are not available
Clients Under 18
- Must provide signed permission from a parent or legal guardian
- We may ask for a government-issued ID with a holographic mark (e.g., passport or driving license)
If you book online but don’t confirm your age, we may cancel your appointment. In such cases, we reserve the right to charge the remaining balance via your online payment method.
Your Health Matters to Us
We care about your safety. That’s why we ask you to provide accurate medical details before your first treatment. If your condition changes, please let us know. Otherwise, we’ll assume your health status remains the same.
Some medical conditions may affect the services we offer. To help us recommend safe alternatives, please be open about your medical history.
Repair after care
Gel or Acrylic Services:
First, we offer free repairs for any damage to gel or acrylic services within 7 days of your appointment. To qualify for a free repair, you must follow our aftercare advice. Please show your loyalty card with the service date when you come for the repair. Keep in mind, we do not cover damage caused by neglecting aftercare instructions.
Polish Services:
Additionally, normal polish services do not have a guarantee once you leave the salon. Our technicians provide detailed aftercare advice to help prevent smudging. However, if you do not follow these tips, we cannot accept responsibility for polish damage.
Color or Nail Art:
Moreover, dissatisfaction with color or nail art is not eligible for a free repair. We encourage you to discuss any concerns directly with your technician during the service. Please note that extra work requested after the service may be charged at our standard extra-time rate.
Booking Fixes:
Finally, repairs must be booked in advance. While we try to accommodate same-day fixes, we cannot guarantee immediate availability. If a same-day fix is not possible, we will schedule the next most convenient time for you. We recommend booking by email or phone to secure your preferred slot.

When submitting a service complaint via email, you may include photos as evidence. We might ask for additional details to fully understand your case. Depending on the situation, we will decide whether to offer a refund, a replacement service, or no compensation. We carefully review each case on an individual basis.
